Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My child played around inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days in sanding floors and removing wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to take shape, however it wasn't quite finished. In this undertaking, I was prepared to invest a significant amount of time and money shopping for my dream home. To keep the budget in check, I began going to estate sales along with my three brothers to search for jewels in the rough. It was a weekly tradition that we would walk through estate and garage sales on Saturdays and Thursdays, purchasing a mix of new and old pieces. My next task was to spend my weekdays painting and sanding outside in our driveway. It was kind of like this... Here's where my obsession with restoring antique furniture started. Even after our house was finished, I didn't want to put it down! At the local market I set up a little area and then sold a few pieces. Then, I ran out of many pieces to store in the space available. The house became a venue that I hosted open houses. Up 1000 people would be able to view the items on the first floor, and then purchase the items. Growing Days was created in this house. Not only was my business thriving but I was growing my sweet family too. In some ways, I was able to find the perfect balance between being a mum and launching my venture. Growing Days was the obvious decision. The year 2013 was the year my daughter Nora was our fourth baby. Although I was happy with the direction my business went, I was feeling like I had to take a little break. I decided to take some break from my antique furniture and slow down to stay at home with the children. That was precisely the thing I needed. But after a couple of months without a phone, it began to call. They were asking for my help in interior decoration and renovations. These were mostly customers who came to my open residence to buy furniture. In the following time I started taking on clients according to my schedule. Soon I had several accounts and a home renovations business. Most likely, I'd have laughed had someone had told me the company was to become part of a forthcoming TV show in the DIY Network. It's hilarious to look back to the idea.
